TIBETAN MASTIFF

JD (1) 1 McElvaney’s Chenpokhyi Zebedee The Only. Liked his head and deep flews. Well set in eyes, uses his ears well and looks interested in the proceedings. Very narrow front and rear moving as yet, but he has a good spring of rib and a level back, tail carried well over his back and in good coat for May.
PGD (3) 1 Porteus’ Seii Taishougun Baldan At Shellonbear. Really taking dog, foreface and skull of equal length, and he has some side wrinkle toi his face which seems to have disappeared from the breed these days. Good neck. Excellent front and correct width across the chest in front. Movement is true and accurate in front, but he is inclined to rather shuffle in rear. Lovely body and coat. Good height to length ratio.
OD (4) 1 Dowey’s Ir Ch Drakyi Emperor Nero Of Tamdrin. CC, BOB. Certainly the best dog I judged all days here in Scotland. I threw him a cracker and hope he continues to cross the sea to attend more shows here. He is very handsome, in full coat, so well constructed all through, and to top it all has an impressive head. Typical breed mover too. 2 Lowe’s Ch Legenda Tibeta Tsehovik. Res CC. Also admired his head and front assembly. Great bone, nicely proportioned, not moving quite so well in rear as the CC winner, but very close up for type, size and condition. 3 McElvaney’s Smokiex Amigo Khyi Arlo.
Sp Beg D (1) 1 Porteus’ Seii Taishougun Baldan At Shellonbear.
JB (4) 1 Lowe’s Callowdale Easy Street. Res CC. Most perfect front and forechest, carries her head and neck at the right angle, as her front is so good. She still can come up on pasterns, but her feet are pretty good. Liked her head and pigment. Ears medium set between her top of head and eyes, Well carried tail. Fair rear, but can still widen a touch more going away. Super hard weatherproof coat.
2 Fowler’s Callowdale Dare To Dream Of Tappernail. In summer coat, certainly the soundest bitch so far moving, which was pleasing to see. Typy in head, still can drop in chest, but for age is fine. Topline and quarters of the best. Her tail should come over further in a curl over back, but she does carry it up. 3 Parker’s Showbull Country Maiden.
PGB (2) 1 Fowler’s Callowdale Dare To Dream Of Tappernail. 2 Garry’s Wangdak Ashaki. Not moving as well as winner, but she has some breed type about her to treasure. Good head and eyes are set in nicely and not too big. Well bodied. Super tail, reasonable behind.
LB (4) 1 Charwin & Deary’s Showbull Queen Latifah. Difficult between first and second! Winner has a good head and neck. Ok in front and moved well going away. She is nicely balanced for height to length proportions. Could do with a touch more rear angulation. Well set and carried tail, and a fair coat for May. 2 Garry’s Wangdak Alisha. Just inclined to sag standing in her back, but she had the edge on side movement. Pleasing head and ear set. Ok in front and tail carried nicely over back. A likable bitch of good overall type. 3 Naylor’s Seii Taishougun Brilliance Star From Skaijak.
OB (3) 1 Lowe’s Callowdale Maysee Grae. CC. A big blue bitch, well grown and reared, with great bone and good working feet. Super head, deep flews, but not overdone in head for a female. Excellent front and forward movement. Level back, well put together behind. She has a lovely air of quality about her. In summer coat, an easy CC winner today! 2 Kennedy’s Heronsview Lady Bear. I do admire this prefix for the type and quality dogs they have produced over the years. I was fortunate enough to judge the first ever classes for the breed, and the Heronsview’s were well to the fore. This girl is a touch plain, and unfortunately had her tail down, but she moved well, and was good to go over.
Sp Beg B (1) 1 Parker’s Showbull Country Maiden. A good bitch for type and movement, she just needs to wake up and enjoy it! Sound both ways, pleasing head and conformation, she just looked half asleep.
