Puppy Bitch (5).
Four of these puppies were from the same litter and were all very similar, although as I explained to their handlers my reserve and VHC were so much more immature than their littermates.
1. Edwards – Chortens Kali. – The sweetest of expressions, and a lovely little bitch puppy. Well grown and good size for her age. Lovely coat of good dark black hair and right for age, Good head coming along, good muzzle, head needs to broaden and stop become more defined, as I am sure it will do with age. Lovely dark eye, good earset. Correct amount of bone, well set on tail which she carried well. Lovely sweet temprement. Movement was ok, but as with all in this class did not move out to well, so movement was hard to determine. BP
2. Briggs – Sobarna Farrah Lady Grey – The odd one out in this class. A 7month old grey and tan totally different from the others. But so much to like about her. Most probably carrying a tad too much weight, which her owner will have to watch. Lovely expression, good head coming along, correct eye colour. Heavier bone than the others, but not overdone. Good coat and condition. Well set on tail carriage which was carried well. Most probably the best mover in this class, although not always in sync with the handler.
3. Grant – Chortens Chung So – Very similar to her litter sister, although not so advanced. Nice head and coat, moved reasonably well. Needs more training, but will settle in time.
Junior Bitch (2:1abs)
1. Young & Rogers – Bheara Sang-pa – 18 month old gold bitch, litter sister to my RBD. Carrying a good coat of a good gold colour, but with a black overlay, which many know is not to my personal taste. Saying that a very nice bitch. A nice heavy, but femine girl, with good bone, nice spring or ribs. Well let down hocks. Moved well when settled, but needs more training. Nice tail set carried well and held her top line.
Post Garduate Bitch: (2)
1. Leak – Darchen Busundra – Two and a half year old black and tan bitch, litter sister to my BD. How this bitch has improved since I last judged her, when she would not co-operate with her owner. Now she is a dream to watch and moves out so well in total co-ordination with her handler. Well done. My notes started “What a cracker”. A good sized girl, of good solid construction, but still feminine. She moved around the ring with drive and purpose and commanded the ring. A very impressive broad head, good stop, with broad well filled muzzle, nice dark correct set eye. All set on a good slightly arched neck which in turn runs into a well shaped body of correct proportions. Good deep chest with well sprung ribs, correct tail carriage which she carried well. Excellent coat in the best of conditions, and presented so well. Her black and tan markings are so correct, with the right colours where they are meant to be, the correct amount of white on her chest, and her black is clear and black. Her handler presented her so well, both stood and on the move, when she moved her at the correct speed. She was an easy winner for BB and then BOB. She carried on her performance in the big ring, and was shortlisted in the final 8 – well done.
2. Draper – Darchen Kamala With Anaxia - Another litter sister to my BD and BB. A grey and tan two and half year old. A very nice girl and much to like about her, I would just like a bit more of her, not the biggest of girls. The last time I judged her she beat her sister above. A very pretty femine bitch with good kindly expression. Good bone, and body. Coat in ok condition, carrying a good tail. Moved ok, and held her top line and tail set on the move.
Open Bitch (3:1abs)
1. Allen – Bheara Dawa Say Gi – A five and half year old gold bitch, of correct coat colour. But carrying too much weight which spoiled her outline. Saying that a lot to like about her. Her coat was in excellent condition of correct texture. Nice head in correct proportions, good broad muzzle, nice ear colour for coat colour, and good earset. Good bone, well sprung rib cage, nice level topline, and good tail carriage. Moved out well, although would move better if not carrying so much weight. RBB
2. Darchen Charissa at Jamaiaca - Four and a half year old black and tan bitch. Bit sluggish on the move today, maybe carrying a tad too much weight. A very kindly expression. Nice broad feminine head, with nice dark eye and pigmentation. Nice bite and muzzle. Good bone and body shape. Moved out ok, front movement ok, maybe a little close behind.
